Suzhou Towngas Co Ltd, a natural gas supplier in SIP, started construction on a comprehensive energy utilization and zero carbon emission demonstration center in SIP’s Shengpu Sub-district on Nov 8.

The project, covering a land area of 56.65 mu (about 37,766 square meters), will comprise a liquefied natural gas (LNG) emergency supply station, a high and medium pressure metering station, a regular and emergency maintenance center, and a production support facility. It is expected to be completed late next year.

The project keeps in line with SIP’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy, and zero carbon emission will be fully achieved in its operation. It will become a good example for integration of green development and technological innovation.
