A job fair was held at Suzhou Industrial Park Human Resources Market (SIP HR Market) on Feb 26. As the first offline job fair after the Spring Festival holiday, the event attracted over 120 companies including Eli Lilly and Company, Dalkin and AUO, which offered 1,534 job vacancies.

Statistics show that around 1,600 resumes were submitted on site, and over 400 applicants reached tentative agreements with employers. The live stream of the event attracted more than 12,000 viewers.

It is worth mentioning that the fair included an interaction that improved job matching through on-the-spot Q&As and interviews.

Moreover, free warm beverages, digital red envelopes containing digital RMB and consultancy on job-hunting skills were provided on site, warming the job seekers’ hearts.

With the success of the event, SIP’s employment promotion initiative for this year has got off to a flying start. A series of on-line and on-site job fairs will follow over the next month.
